Well , I've finally taken the plunge and set up a blog , and this will be its home .

I've been asked on numerous occasions to do this, I've always declined . I don't want to be one of those know alls we all love to hate ... So what will I be looking at ? A bit of Vintage , some sewing , maybe hair ( maybe ! But it's the most common thing I'm asked about ) I'll probably take you on my hitherto sad journey into crochet . A bit of knitting maybe . There will definitely be promotion of Independant Dressmakers as this is my passion . I might even do a spot of cooking . I'm fairly sure there'll be a bit of dancing and some general silliness .

So first up , a new dress for dancing . A classic 1940s wrap day dress ... when I find the pattern.
